Starting Out
I was introduced to reefing by a close friend and stumbled into the hobby after finding a great deal on a frag system (pictured). In my first year, I focused on learning the ins and outs of proper care, color development, and cultivating resilient corals. Ever since then, I have grown my collection and been able to keep difficult corals happy and healthy.
My Coral Philosophy
I believe that water quality and a balanced, thriving bacterial biome are the foundation of a successful reef. Then, when you support this by consistent husbandry and thoughtful nutrient export, the corals are bolstered for success. Rather than chasing extremes, my approach focuses on stability and adaptability. I prioritize creating conditions where corals can grow strong, colorful, and resilient across a wide range of healthy reef systems, not only mine.
